The ability to reset is a career superpower.

A meeting doesn't go well.
You replay it in your head.
You think about what you should have said differently.
There's value in that.
Reflection is how we improve.

But eventually, the meeting is over.
The next one deserves your full attention, not whatever happened 30 minutes ago.
I've found that's what resetting really is.

Take the lesson with you.
Leave everything else behind, quickly.

Success can have the same effect.
Celebrate it.
Enjoy the moment.
Then earn the next one.

The next opportunity doesn't care what happened before it.
It asks for your best thinking all over again.

Easier said than done.
Our emotions have a way of following us.
I'm still figuring it out myself.

What helps you reset?
