Old vs New Concept of Leadership

leadership  ✺  career  ✺  management

My old concept of leadership:

-Believing I need to have all the answers -Feeling I need to be right all the time -Thinking I need to figure everything out on my own

My new concept of leadership:

1- Being comfortable with not having all the answers and focusing on asking good questions 2- Listening to input and being open to changing my opinion 3- Actively seeking support and guidance from mentors and other leaders

I once felt the weight of needing to know it all. This rigidity not only limited inclusivity but also eroded team trust and slowed down my growth.

Now, embracing the collaborative essence of leadership, I value diverse perspectives. This approach has fostered renewed trust, making me feel more connected and better poised to lead effectively.
