Help One Person.

1 min

I think most people overcomplicate networking.
They think it's about more.

More people.
More events.
More coffee chats.
More posting.

So they stay busy.
But nothing really changes.
Because they're focused on what they can get from it.

The one thing that's worked for me is much simpler.
I try to help one person.

That's it.

Introduce two people.
Reply to a question someone asked.
Send something useful you came across.
Or simply thank someone who helped you (directly or indirectly).

When I do, I'm not thinking about what comes back.
But over time, it usually does.

Instead of focusing on expanding your network...
Focus on how you show up in it.

So here's a challenge:
Help one person today.
No agenda.
No expectation.
Just be useful.

Then do it again tomorrow.
